Sunday thoughts: 12th October 2014

I’m going to have to come out with a cliché again, but it really does seem like only a couple of days ago I was hurriedly putting together some thoughts on the preceding week, Sunday having once again snuck up on me.

It came as no surprise, then, when I accidentally booked some clients in for Wednesday, which is my birthday and a day I had planned to take off for, well, pretty much ever as I have yet to work on a birthday. Luckily my clients are all wonderful people who had no problem rescheduling when Ben, thankfully, double-checked with me that I had remembered to take the day off. Continue reading

Sunday thoughts: 15th June 2014

Sunshine and heat that occasionally approached the right level for summer (to all who complained about it being too hot – you’re wrong), lots of fresh fruit and vegetables, plenty of water and just the right amount of tea and cardamom coffee, something like a good amount of sleep, some heavier lifting than I’ve done in a while, meditation, a pizza, 11 avocados (yes, I got through 11 avocados in a week – and I have bought 6 more), Orange is the New Black, and a bunch of smoothies. Sunday thoughts

I’m afraid I’m not going to have much excitement to share with you all this week! But it has been a good week. I have spent the last couple of days pottering around the house, catching up on admin and having a bit of a premature spring clean, and although we toyed with the idea of going out for dinner tonight, it doesn’t look like either of us are particularly keen on braving the outside world, so I figured I might as well give you a head start on catching up on this week’s Sunday thoughts, so you can get on with your own evening.
